Outstanding Features

The Manhattan was designed in California for long distance paddling. It’s an outstanding inflatable touring sup board that has a good combination of performance and price.

Nixy has all the features you need in a inflatable touring paddle board. A long streamlined profile. A bungee system on the nose and tail. 14 D-rings and a large deck pad. It’s lightweight for easy portage. And it’s durable with extra stiffness when inflated.

…good combination of performance and price.

Stiffness is critical for an inflatable paddle board. Nixy sup boards inflate to 20psi for that extra rigidity. Only high quality inflatable paddle boards inflate past the standard 15psi to 20. It takes a well constructed, strong inflatable to handle that higher air pressure.

Nixy reinforced the rails of the Manhattan with carbon fiber. This adds durability and even more stiffness.

The accessory package you get with the Manhattan is very good. A quality carry/backpack with wheels. A dual chamber triple action hand pump. And a fiberglass paddle.

Performance

In the water the Manhattan performs just like a long distance inflatable paddle board should. It get moving with a few quick strokes and glides easy. It tracks a straight line with no problem.

The Manhattan is not as nimble as a smaller paddle board, but for a 12’6″ sup board the Manhattan maneuvers well.

The Manhattan handles chop well. It paddles fine in all water conditions.

While the Manhattan is stable it would not be the best choice for a beginner. The 30″ width and streamlined profile is better suited for an athletic or intermediate paddler.

This is a plus because it’s a paddle board you can grow with as you become a better paddler. Advanced paddlers will enjoy the Manhattan.
