My Viewpoint

Please note this review is for the 11′ All-Around and not the 10 footer.

The iRocker 11′ All-Around performs the way you want an all around paddle board to perform. Good balanced versatile performance. Not outstanding in any one area but never a disappointment either.

For the average paddler this is the ideal paddle board. It is stable, glides and maneuvers well and has a reasonable price.

iRocker Paddle Boards have always been a best-value favorite of mine. What really sets iRocker apart is that their boards are high quality, perform well, yet have a reasonable price. Its the combination of quality and low price that warms my heart.

iRocker design their paddle boards in Florida. Always a great place to enjoy water sports, Florida is becoming a paddle board hot spot. iRocker is owned and operated by paddlers. You can see that in the quality of construction and the functionality of their boards.

Significant Features

 D-Rings

There are a total of 21 D-rings.

Side Safety Handles on the Nose

The nose of the board has 6 D-rings with a bungee net. A feature I really like are the two safety handles incorporated into the bungee net. These handles are perfect for a child who wants to ride on the board.

Two Bungee Systems. Front and Rear

There are D-rings each side of the deck pad. These are for attaching the optional kayak seat and carry strap.

Kayak Seat Option

The iRocker kayak seat is a popular option that includes an extra paddle blade. The iRocker paddle that comes with your board can be converted into a kayak paddle with the extra blade. The entire kayak seat package is small enough to be stored on the nose bungee net ready for use.

You can also buy an optional carry strap that connect to the D-rings on the sides of the deck pad. The strap is a nice option that frees up your hands when carrying your inflated paddle board.

There is another bungee system on the tail of the board with 6 D-rings.

There is also a D-ring on the tail of the board for securing your ankle leash.

Carry Handles

Three carry handles. Nose, Tail and center of deck.

Deck Pad

The crocodile-textured diamond-groove deck pad is soft, comfortable and provides plenty of grip for your feet. It extends all the way to the tail of the board.

Fins

iRocker uses the standard tr-fin set up. Two small fixed fins on the sides. And one long removable center fin. Taking the center fin off and on is incredibly easy with the new flip lock fin box that came out in 2018.

Trible Layer Construction

Many paddle boards have one or two layers of pvc. iRocker paddle boards have three layers of high grade pvc.

The three layers of pvc increase durability and reduce flex in the water. Flex is the Achilles heel of inflatable paddle boards. Anything that can be done to increase rigidity is worthwhile. The stiffer an inflatable paddle board is the closer it will feel and performance like a hard paddle board.

Triple layer construction is an example of the value you get in an iRocker paddle board. There are only a few paddle boards at this price range built this well.

Accessory Package

iRocker All-Around 11' SUP Board Review 2020 6

The iRocker All-Around has a good accessory package. The dual action pump, paddle and carry bag are all above average for this price range.

The carry bag was upgraded in 2018 and again in 2020. There is plenty of room in this bag and the rolled up board goes and out without struggle. It converts into a backpack and has a side handle.

Value & Reasonable Price

The price and quality combination of the iRocker All-Around 11′ make it a good value. The iRocker All-Around performs great in the water without glaring flaws.

The accessories are good. The construction and materials are very good. Four layers of military grade pvc and high-density drop stitching in the core make this board strong, solid and durable.

There are a lot of brands trying to cut corners at this price range. But iRocker makes good entry level boards designed and manufactured to perform well and last a long time.

Stability

The All-Around 11′ is stable enough for a beginner. Regardless of your skill level you will be comfortable riding this board. While it is not as stable as the iRocker Cruiser, the iRocker All-Around is still plenty stable plus it glides and turns better than the Cruiser.

Glide

The IRocker All-Around paddles has easy good glide. It doesn’t take a lot of work to get it moving and once moving glides well. The All-Around glides and tracks well even when conditions get windy and choppy. It even picks up speed well when cutting through chop.

This is not fastest paddle board on the water but it cannot be considered slow. Unless speed it a priority you will be satisfied with how fast the All-Around moves through the water. For a faster board your need a touring paddleboard.

Maneuverability

The IRocker 11′ All-Around turns and maneuvers relatively quick and easy. I wouldn’t call this board nimble but it’s not sluggish when turning.

Best Application

The iRocker All-Around 11′ performs great in all water conditions and is suitable for every skill level. This is a swiss army knife among paddle boards. It’s a family-friendly entry level paddle board that is perfect for all-around cruising. It can handle heavy riders, extra passengers like a kid, dog or heavy cargo. This is the best option for most recreational paddlers.
